Coffee World Change Supports Nourishing Young Talent at Young TIT

At Coffee World, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, thrive, and grow. Through our Coffee World Change initiative, we’re committed to empowering communities and supporting the next generation of leaders, artists, and change-makers. This November, we are thrilled to extend our support once again to Young Teens in Talent (Young TIT), a dynamic talent hub based in Mathare, Nairobi.

Young TIT has seen incredible growth since we last sponsored meals for them in July. What began as a dance crew has now blossomed into a vibrant community of over 80 children and young adults, showcasing their talents across multiple disciplines, including modern dance, traditional dance, modeling, and art. This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of founder Moses and his team, who have created a safe, nurturing space for young people to express themselves and chase their dreams.

The holiday months of November and December present significant financial challenges for the centre. With schools closed, the number of children attending practice increases, as does the cost of providing daily meals. Yet, Young TIT remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring every child has a meal to fuel their bodies and minds during practice.

That’s where Coffee World Change steps in. This month, we’re proud to sponsor meals for all 80+ members, six days a week, providing nearly 2,000 meals over the month of November. These meals are about more than sustenance — they’re a symbol of care, a boost to the kids’ well-being, and a source of energy for their creativity and hard work.

It’s inspiring to see how Young TIT has grown, not just in numbers but in the impact they’re making within their community. From the joy of dance to the discipline of modeling and the creativity of art, the young talents at the center are thriving. By contributing to their daily needs, we hope to lighten the burden on the center and the families of these talented individuals, allowing them to focus on what they do best — shining brightly.
