Founded in Cambridge in 1984, Coffee World is an independent, family-run coffee roaster with over 40 years of experience. From our Cambridgeshire roastery, we supply wholesale coffee, freshly roasted coffee beans and commercial coffee equipment to cafés, restaurants, offices, colleges and hospitality businesses across the UK, while also roasting for customers who enjoy great coffee at home. 

Our range includes everything from dependable espresso blends and premium house blends to specialty coffees and carefully selected single-origin coffees. Alongside our coffee, we provide barista training, equipment servicing and technical support, helping businesses serve exceptional coffee every day. While the coffee industry has evolved over the years, our values have remained the same – roast great coffee, offer honest advice and build long-term relationships with every customer we work with.

Our Roastery

Roasting coffee is at the heart of what we do, and we've spent more than four decades refining our craft. Every coffee is roasted at our Cambridgeshire roastery using our IMF and Vittoria roasting systems, giving us the flexibility to produce everything from high-volume espresso blends to small-batch specialty coffees, all with the same attention to quality and consistency.

The coffees we roast begin their journey in coffee-growing regions around the world. Working with trusted sourcing partners, we carefully select coffees for their quality, character and consistency before roasting them fresh in Cambridge. Our roastery is also powered by a large solar array, reflecting our continued investment in the future of Coffee World and our commitment to building a modern, sustainable business.
