This is what I feel is an everyday coffee in taht it neitehr blows my head off nor feels weak and lacka flavour. It states its a 4 but I would probably think more 3 but that could be down to taste but overall I wasnt disapaointed. It doesnt come resealable but you could decant to a container or use a peg. All in all a great tasteing coffee and always great to see 100% fair trade

I drink nothing else but coffee and love trying different blends and roasts. These beans have a medium colour, no shine and grind perfectly. The aroma is light and fruity with a sharp overtone. The flavour is good! Not a strong coffee but not weak either at all and there is a slight sweetness to the flavour that adds a smoothness to the taste.I would definitely buy these beansGood value and Recommended

Everything I am looking for in a coffee, it's a distinctive brew. The coffee makes you know that you have just had a great cup and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.A full-body flavour that lasts with a decent caffeine hit.Rounded and good value for money. I will buy this in the future.

I’m a coffee beginner so have been trying lots of beans for lots of roasters. The Artisan blend is the only one I’ve bought twice, and I’ll probably take out a subscription. The reason is that I find this blend easy to drink loads of, excellent in my Clever Dripper and V60. I’m still a novice at espresso and will try this blend very soon.

I have recently got into drinking coffee (last year) and have developed a specific taste for it already. As I consume it without milk or sugar, I really pay attention to the taste of the beans. These have a slightly sweet taste that can be compared to a 'little fruity' but also a sweeter after taste similar to honey. This is obviously individual however I hope some people with similar baby tastebuds as mine can relate. They are a little expensive to what I normally drink but this must be due to them being fairtrade. I am for supporting this however and with subscribe and save (14) I think it is a great option as a permanent feature in my coffee drawer. They grind well and are best served fresh to limit oxidation and I would put them in an airtight container after opening the pack to retain this freshness.Overall very happy, strong enough to give me a buzz in the morning whilst pleasing the tastebuds!

The coffee is from a Artisan Blend UK Roasted Whole Coffee Bean, and are Fairtrade.I've found this makes them taste nicely but are usually more expensive, so the price I've found is quite fair. This is a medium roast bean I would give it a strength of 4, the beans are contained in a single large 1 kg bag. when opened there was a strong aroma of coffee which smelt nice and fresh. I don't actually own a coffee grinder, Instead I bought a cheap coffee press which works great. The flavour is quite strong which I do enjoy, but not what I normally go for.Overall, Its sweeter than my normal coffee but provides a great strong taste.

A decent cup of coffee, this is full bodied with no bitterness, very drinkable. I cannot detect any of the more complex flavours promised, but that could be more a reflection of my taste buds than the coffee, I rarely can detect these more subtle flavours. However I do enjoy this blend. There are cheaper coffees, but I feel this is still good value.

Review for Coffee World | Artisan Blend UK Roasted Whole Coffee Beans (100% Fairtrade) - Perfect Brewing for Home, Café, Business, Shop - 1KG Bag/Pouch.First off I like to know exactly what type of beans are in the blend. The packaging mentions the website is no easier to find this information. The two main coffee bean varieties are Arabica and Robusta, Arabica beans tend to be smoother, less acidic and less intense, Robusta give a more bitter, stronger coffee with extra kick giving, earthier strong tasting coffee. This blend from the taste and experience appears majority robusta as its a more bitter taste compared to coffees that I know are 100% Arabica. The brew is a strong brew but not overly so and makes a pleasant cup of coffee with nice crema. Comes as a 1kg pack which is not resealable which for me requires storing in another airtight bag. Suitable for all manner of whole bean coffee preparation such, I put these into a bean to cup machine for a nice cup of coffee each time. Overall a pleasant enough coffee which is reasonably priced however a sealable pack would have been convenient and also some information regarding the type s of bean used in the blend.

Nice beans, not too strong but makes a nice coffee. No issues blending, Pack isn't resealable so a more suitable container is required after opening.

Great coffee, which needed grinding carefully. Over grind and there was a hint of bitterness. I think a burr grinder will inevitably extract the best flavour. So my advice is a course grind, then pop into a coffee maker of your choice.Delicious.

I would say this is a more 3-4 than a solid 4 - which is milder than my preferred 4-5 roast, but never the less I like the taste and it is good for all day drinking. When you consider the price, this is decent value. More cafetier than esspesso, but none the worse for that.

Used all 250gm, with various settings but all coffee sour. I should have tried reducing the normal 18gm dose but ran out of beans.

Opening this packet and the aromas with notes of chocolate and nuts seemed to be most prevalent to us. The beans smell delicious! The beans are a mid brown and matte in appearance. Initially I was disappointed as my usual beans are darker and glossier - they look more attractive. I wasn't confident the taste of the coffee would live up to the initial aromas.I use a Delonghi bean-to-cup Magnifica machine (highly recommended by the way) and it does everything for me. The resulting coffee always results in a coffee with an excellent crema and this bean was no different. The roast is not quite as well developed as my usual coffee but this bean (roast level 4) is really delicious with caramel and chocolate notes being most obvious to me.Add to the 100% Fairtrade and mixed origins from South America & South Central Asia and this gives a lovely blend that will satisfy most home coffee needs.I would buy again.

I appreciate that this Coffee World 'Artisan Blend' Coffee is Fair Trade and enjoy the flavour, so it's a good double win. It's a medium-strength coffee that got some body but no bitterness and the mentioned hints of Chocolate and Caramelised flavours are about right. For me it's a perfect lunchtime coffee, with enough flavour to savour and enjoy but without the caffeine-kick I need first thing in the morning or the oily bitterness of a high-roast coffee that you can taste for hours afterwards. The beans are a medium-dark colour, as you'd expect from a medium roast coffee, and lack the Mahogany gloss of some but they deliver once ground and brewed. I can't say it's the most distinctive coffee I've tried, it's a bit characterless but still delivers a nice full flavour and an enjoyable cuppa. For me it's best made slightly strong, it fills out the flavour nicely without making it bitter. It's the kind of easy-to-drink blend that most people will appreciate, just a good quality multi-purpose and multi-person coffee.

I tried this in my latest favourite cafe and had to order some to use at home. Arrived promptly today & I’ve enjoyed 2 cups already. Not as strong as my usual home brand (Lavazza Crema Gusto) but will make double shot brews. So far, so good!

This blend contains robusta beans as well as arabica, which means that the caffeine levels are higher and the flavour is stronger but less nuanced. It is cheaper though, as a result.I quite like it as a cappuccino though - not so keen as a black coffee.

A very nice high quality coffee bean.At first this was a little harsher than what I was used to but I adjusted the settings and managed to get a really nice brew. The bag is huge which is great but it doesn't have a way to seal it. This is frustrating as some others I've seen have a seal which is great.Overall with a bit of a settings change, I got a lovely cup of hot coffee.

In most cases I will drink any coffee that you give me, if it is warm and has caffeine, I am happy. Being at home more I have started to get a taste for a slightly better brew as I grind my own several times a day. At this point it is all a matter of taste. I would call Coffee World's 'Artisan Blend' as a very easy drinker. There is strength here, but no overpowering flavour. It would suit any coffee drinker that does not want too powerful a tone.Personally, I prefer a little something in my coffee and perhaps would have liked some smoky tones or citrus. Despite it lacking depth, what it does have is a nice clean finish. You can drink two cups of this easily and it sits in the middle ground between the strong flavour I like and the lighter flavour my partner prefers. Both of us can drink this and are happy. The beans are a good quality and there is little mess in the packet. You will get over a hundred cups of coffee out of this pack and each will taste as fresh as the last.

This 1 kg bag of coffee beans is thankfully not too bitter, With a sweet aftertaste of caramel and other flavours. It makes a delicious strong brew, And the beans are roasted to perfection. It has the right balance between a smooth foam that develops on top - With the warm deep flavour of the coffee itself. This certainly blends well with other beans to make an ideal custom cup of morish coffee.

You get what you pay for. A decent cup of coffee! As soon as you open the bag you get an incredible waft of strong rich and chocolaty coffee. And the taste is just the same rich and dark, not too acidic.

It seems unfair to compare Coffee World | Artisan with all the other coffee I enjoy. I could make the list and even report what I like better about all of them. But what you need to know is that I am happy with this Roasted Whole Coffee. Coffee World | Artisan does not fall at the end of my list nor is it at the top. The grind works in the French press. The trick was finding how many to use to make it taste rich and complete instead of over powered and big. Which is the thing you chase with any beans. I do appreciate is that this big bag of coffee sells for not that much more than a little version of my other favorites. It means I will not run out after a few days.

This is a good tasting coffee and one that I really like. I ground the beans and have used it in my espresso machine an also in my cafeteria. It has a pleasant aroma and taste, it is not too bitter and produced a decent crema when used in my machine. The beans are a mix and of robusta and arabica. The flavour does have hints of chocolate/ caramel as an after taste but the other flavours that are mentioned int he product details didn't quite come through.I like that this is also a fairtrade branded coffee. Also, I noticed that there are other varieties my this company and I based on my experience of this blend I will be ordering some of their other blends. I would happily recommend this coffee as a good all round flavour.
