This is a product review of the ground Coffee (not beans). My fiancée and I have been testing it out over the past three days and I'm pleased to say we think it is just great coffee, great taste, nice & strong. I would consider getting this again - definitely recommend.

I messed up my order but coffee world extremely kindly rectified it for me. These single origin beans are very smooth. I think my equipment doesn't quite do it justice but I'm very pleased with the crema and subtle flavours!

This is a really nice coffee - assertive but not overwhelming, good aroma and worked well with my espresso machine. Would not hesitate to buy again.

I enjoy a good mug of coffee, normally brewed with a cafetiere (French press). I've tried a few different varieties of these Coffee World beans and have been imrpessed with the quality. Unlike beans I've had from some other suppliers, which have been burnt and misshapen, these Coffee World beans are uniform in size and shape, and roasted to a nice, even, light-brown colour. The resulting brews have been smooth and well-rounded. I find Columbian coffee has a distinctive flavour which I enjoy best in the middle of the day, but that's just me! Recommended.

For me, Colombian coffee is a safe choice when buying a supermarket brand. You can always count on it for a decent cup of coffee without it being exceptional in any way. I was totally surprised then by how good this Colombian coffee from Coffee World is. It's full-flavoured, with no strange notes in it, just good fresh coffee.The pack of single origin Arabica beans I received is Excelso, which is central region Colombia, and apparently it's noted for its smooth, rich and slightly nutty taste. You couldn't describe it better. I ground the beans, made mine in an espresso machine, and it makes a medium roast espresso with a good crema. If youtake your coffee with milk it makes a nice cappuccino and if you prefer dairy-free milk alternatives, this is lovely with unsweetened almond milk, blending well with the slightly nutty flavour.A 500g bag of Coffee World beans looks quite expensive, but for a fine quality fairtrade coffee that is not mass produced, this is actually reasonably priced. You won't go near a supermarket brand coffee again. The packaging is good, with a press seal to keep it fresh. Fabulous coffee, highly recommended,

This is my go to coffee, I have a good quality hand grinder for use with a Gaggia Classic and an Aeropress. ( Knock Feld47 hand grinder )
I am really pleased with how both types of coffee taste
I would say its a mild tasting coffee which I enjoy, I don't enjoy strong tasking coffees with Robusta beans added

A very smooth blend that makes a mild, if far from bland drink. The taste does tend to linger a little longer than I'd like for a less strong taste, but that aside, this is a very good blend.

I'm by no means a coffee connoisseur; I don't even have one cup a day. But when I do have a coffee, I like it to be a good one.And I enjoyed this one.Taken black it has a good strength to it but doesn't over do it. It's pleasant to taste and you do feel like you've drunk a good cup of coffee. It works with Milk just as well and I've also tried it with a couple of flavoured syrups to good effect too.Also tried it as a cold brew/iced coffee and that was very enjoyable too.I personally don't get the Caramel, Chocolate & Orange that the tasting notes suggest but then again I've never been any good at that. All I know is that it's a very good cup of coffee.

The product listing describes the flavour of this blend as Caramel, Chocolate & Orange.I get more of a nutty smokiness, with a bit of a sweet note at the end.It's a reasonably nice brew when taken white, although I find it a touch harsh taken black.The packaging is quite utilitarian, and isn't particularly attractive, but the resealable bag is very practical and easy to use, helping to keep the beans fresh.The coffee is certified by the Rainforest Alliance, reflecting environmental, social, and economic sustainability in production.

I've always considered Columbian coffee to be one of our more robust coffees. It normally figures at around a 4 on the coffee strength scale. However, this single source coffee from Coffeeworld is very much on a par with their Honduras coffee I tried recently. Totally lacking a kick! To my taste it is quite bland and lacking any depth. No different from the cheaper supermarket coffees. In fact the Columbian coffee from certain so called 'budget supermarkets are actually better!Its a shame as I was expecting a single source coffee to pack a punch but sadly its a bit meh!

Good coffee beans, for my taste a little on under roasted side. But overall taste good, there is no horrific aftertaste and the price seems to be fine as well.

My default beans are Machu Pichu, so a high standard. I have tried several Coffee World coffees, I really like the Homduran single bean but then this Columbian Arabica impressed me even more. Dark chocolate taste early then a subtle bitterness, very pleasing and a really lovely espresso. A really good roast.The fact it is Rainforest Alliance is a big bonus.A really great coffee.

This coffee comes from Colombia which has always been one of my favourite producers. It is made from 100% Rainforest Alliance Arabica beans although the exact nature of the ethically sourced product is not well explained on the packaging. Talking of which this is certainly designed for freshness with a plastic valve and a strong seal which alongside a use by date of February 2022 should give you a good result. The ground makes it suitable for a wide range of makers from Moka Pots to Filters to Cafetieres and many others in between.In the mouth this is a lighter roast coffee with sharp fruit notes lingering after an initial shot of chocolate, but all done in a way which is quite understated-it is one for people who enjoy a mild, mellow, but flavoursome cupful rather than a huge hit of intense caffeine. You need to moderate the amount of water you use here to protect the delicate flavours in order to really enjoy this coffee at its best. The price is definitely on the high side, but for those of you who like to explore coffees with different flavour profiles this will be worth a trial.

Really tasty, good quality and fresh.

A pleasure to drink, light chocolate base lifted with notes of orange but softened into caramel. Delicious.

A great daily coffee promptly delivered

A very accurate flavour profile - caramel and chocolate predominantly - but of greater importance, it makes a rich, rounded and very well balanced espresso but with enough character to cut through a latte or cappuccino and provide a really satisfying cup. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely tasting coffee. It comes in a sturdy resealable pouch which is really handy for keeping the beans fresh.It's listed as a medium blend and I found it to be milder than my normal beans. I usually have the coffee machine at "strong taste" but after the first cup with these beans I turned it up to "extra strong" which gave an intense almost fruity/zesty flavoured coffee. Definitely a different tasting coffee but in a really nice way.I've attached a couple of pictures to show the nice crema it achieved, We use a Delonghi Primadonna Lite Bean to Cup machine. I've also provided a picture of the beans, they are slightly less oily and shiny than my regular brand but the taste and freshness seems excellent.

A well-balanced pleasant single-origin coffee bean. The roast is medium whereas i generally prefer a darker roast, but the flavour is good - initially caramelly with a more fruity and slightly acidic finish. The aroma is a really nice hazelnut.The beans are packed in a resealable, valved bag to keep them nice and fresh.On the slightly expensive side, but they're single-origin, Rainforest alliance and nicely roasted here in the UK so with the extra cost.

As with all Coffee World product this is well packaged, and keeps the coffee inside nice and fresh. These Rainforest Alliance beans come from Columbia, and are medium roasted. I never thought I'd liked medium roasted as I always thought that I preferred my coffee blowing my head off (!)These beans have a lovely aroma when ground (burr or blade), and this transfers to a lovely all-round taste. Not a shallow taste, but a nicely rounded one. The packaging mentions orange, caramel and chocolate notes; and these are present to a greater or lesser extent. Very much lending itself to the overall flavour, rather than fighting against it.I've used these in a French Press and a V60 thus far, and both work very well.

This is the best way I can describe this. It smells very rich and earthy and feels that way in my mouth, too. It's a pleasant taste, but others will likely pick up more detailed and nuanced flavours. I definitely like it though and, as is usual with this company, the packaging is great, too!

This is a very nice coffee that is rich in flavour. I've used these beans in my Krups beans-to-cup machine. This is a medium roast, and whilst I normally prefer my coffee with more of a kick, I have enjoyed the subtlety and depth of flavour this coffee produces. The chocolate hints in particular are quite pronounced. Definitely worth trying if you like your coffee to be complex and slightly on the mellow side.

Nice smooth taste. Brewed with a cafetiere with water just under boiling. Surprisingly fresh given the unknown origin date. No overly bold or bitter. A good morning brew.

This Colombian coffee is mellow and creamy in flavour. I have to say as a family we prefer this flavour to our normal coffee beans and I look forward to buying it when it's available.

This is a strong coffee with a kick, too strong for me tbh, but good for anyone who likes to kickstart their day with a blast of caffeine. It works both black and with milk and has flavour without bitterness. The bag is resealable. A bit pricy but the quality is good. Definitely one worth trying by coffee lovers.
