What is speciality coffee?

Speciality coffee is any coffee that scores above 80 on the Specialty Coffee Association's (SCA) 100-point scale.

This grading system considers various factors, such as:

- Acidity

- Body

- Aftertaste

- Balance

- Flavour

- Aroma

- Fragrance

Why should I choose speciality coffee?

Speciality coffee offers a wider range of flavours, greater freshness and full traceability back to origin. Every coffee is carefully selected and roasted to bring out its unique character.

What's the difference between single origin and blend coffee?

Single origin coffee comes from one farm, producer or region and highlights the unique flavours of that location. Blends combine coffees from different origins to create a balanced and consistent flavour profile.

Which coffee is best for espresso?

Most of our coffees can be brewed as espresso. Check the recommended brew methods on each product page to help you choose.

Which coffee is best for filter coffee?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

Can I choose whole beans or ground coffee?

Yes. Simply choose whole beans or your preferred grind before adding your coffee to your basket. We can grind your coffee for cafetières, filter machines, AeroPress, V60, moka pots and espresso machines.

How fresh is your coffee?

We roast throughout the week, so your coffee is usually roasted within a few days of dispatch.

How should I store my coffee?

Store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
