About House Blend...

Our signature blend, perfect for your daily coffee. Just like our 1984 Espresso, this blend has been a staple from the very beginning. We love it best as a smooth, chocolatey, full-bodied filter.

For a comforting cup that’s almost like drinking a fruit and nut chocolate bar, the sweetness of this coffee is beautifully balanced by a mellow, zesty orange-like acidity. It’s a nostalgic favorite that will transport you right back to your very first cup!

Filter: We like to use French Press for this coffee:

  • Place 15g of Medium-Course coffee grounds into the French Press and place it on some scales.
  • Start a timer and quickly pour 225g of water just off the boil onto the coffee grounds.
  • Using a spoon, gently incorporate any dry spots of coffee that remain into the water.
  • Place the lid on top, but don’t press down the plunger.
  • After 4 minutes, press the plunger down until it just touches the coffee and very slowly pour the coffee into your cup.

The best recipe for any coffee depends on the equipment, water and preparation being used to make it. We encourage you to experiment and fine tune our suggestions to your preferences.

I have been drinking only decaf coffee for three years now due to health issues and I was on a very dedicated journey of finding a good decaf coffee that is not mild in taste. Finally thanks to these two packs I’ve reached the delicious decaf summit. Both of these flavors are incredibly tasty, round and there is no acidity. I use an AeroPress to make my coffee, the grind is perfect for it. You also get two packs of coffee for a very reasonable price with this taster pack. I cannot recommend these enough, if you are a coffee addict who has to drink decaf, this is definitely it!
