Take a small amount of grind and place it on a flat surface. Use the BREWLER to line up the size of the particles with the size of the holes on the BREWLER. Since your grind most likely has various sized particles, you should line up both the smallest and largest particles and make note of their sizes. These two numbers will give you the grind range you are using in microns.

The BREWLER features grind size measurements from 200–1600 microns, providing a physical reference for comparing fine, medium and coarse coffee grounds.

Grade Green Coffee Beans

Dedicated bean measurements from 11–20/64" allow the BREWLER to also be used for checking and grading the size of green coffee beans.

Grinder Calibration

By giving grind size a measurable value, the BREWLER can be used to compare grinder settings and provide a reference point when calibrating or adjusting a grinder.

Built-In Coffee References

Alongside the grind and bean measurements, the stainless steel tool includes a 15cm ruler and a conversion table for common coffee brewing measurements.
