Intro to Coffee & Cupping (Private Session) | Barista or Coffee at Home Training Course

Our Introduction to Coffee course is a journey from coffee cherry (yes, a cherry!) all the way to the cappuccino in your cup.

We begin with the history of coffee and learn about how coffee is grown on a farm, processed, and shipped as green beans. We then explore our on-site roastery to see how green beans are shipped, roasted and packaged ready for your consumption.

We then dive into the different coffee origins of the world and how the flavour profiles of coffee vary between different origins. This is done through a coffee tasting (cupping) in which we sample a wide range of coffee from different countries and roasts.

After Completion You Can:

Know about the history of coffee and how it became the coffee industry of today.

Explain how coffee is grown, farmed and processed across the world.

Know how coffee roasters work, how coffee is roasted and how it is packaged.

Have developed key sensory skills and understand different coffee flavour profiles.

A budding barista or enthusiastic home brewer, this course has you covered on learning all there is about the coffee plant, the industry and different coffee flavour profiles.
